Wedding Website Checklist: Everything Guests Need

Guests visit a wedding website with exactly three questions: where do I need to be and when, what do I wear, and where do I stay. Answer those first. Your love story is lovely, but put it below the logistics.

The complete checklist

• Names, date, and city on the first screen
• Event schedule: mehendi, sangeet, ceremony, reception — each with time, venue, and a Google Maps link
• RSVP form or WhatsApp RSVP contact, with a clear deadline and guest-count field
• Travel: nearest airport/station, cab guidance, hotel block details with booking codes
• Dress code per event (guests genuinely worry about this)
• Contact person for questions — a sibling or planner, not the couple
• Gallery and your story, further down the page
• Photo-sharing link (Google Photos or a drive) added after the wedding

One page or multiple pages?

One page with anchor navigation wins for weddings. Guests are on phones, often on hotel Wi-Fi; a single page loads once and everything is a scroll away. Multi-day Indian weddings fit neatly as a timeline section rather than separate pages per event.
